I met Luke on Plenty of Fish.
I was told his name was Luke Sullivan but I don’t know if that’s a lie.
We chatted on phone and via text. We met up, and I absolutely fell in love with him. Super sweet, caring, thoughtful. He said he wasn’t on facebook… He certainly wasn’t under the name Luke Sullivan anyway.
We only got to be together in person a handful of times as he was always making excuses why we couldn’t spend more time, he was his grandmother’s carer, he worked, he had court against his father, etc etc.
But he often spoke of marriage. And I was so in love with him.
Then almost a year after we started dating I received a phone call from someone claiming to be mother of his kids and now ex fiance. She told me she wasn’t angry with me as I wasn’t the only one he was messing around with. At least 3 other people, one a guy.
I couldn’t hear a lot of it, as I was on the side of the road in heavy traffic. But it didn’t even sound like she said Luke.
But when I tried to contact him, his number was disconnected.
I haven’t heard from him since and that was several months ago.
So ever since I’ve been left wondering…
