Former Miss Texas contestant and Spanish teacher Amy McElhenney, 25, was accused of having sexual relations with an 18-year-old student. Although the student in question was of the age of consent, Texas still has a law forbidding teachers from having sexual relationships with their students (duh). McElheney didn’t face any jail time, but she did lose her teaching credentials.
